A remote medical specialist provides administrative support to US healthcare facilities.
TASKS
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of physician orders, medical reports and databases
- Managing email correspondence and e-fax communications
- Verifying insurance coverage, obtaining required authorizations and coordinating with U.S. based clinician for durable medical equipment (DME) products
- Processing radiology and laboratory orders
- Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness and submitting claims using billing software
- Auditing clinical documentation, identifying problem areas, and monitoring document deficiency trends in home health records and discipline notes
- Transcribing clinician visits in both live and offline settings
- Processing authorizations and preparing justifications for medical visits
- Handling inbound and outbound calls and accurately routing inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel
- Assisting in training and orienting new staff members as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Open to college level and graduates of Bachelor Science in Nursing and allied medical courses
- Knowledge of medical terminologies and G-Suite
- Good English communication skills
- Keen to details
- Experience in US healthcare, a plus
- Experience in BPO, a plus
JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
- Work from home
- Night shift, Monday to Friday

- Operating System: at least Windows 10
